The great prize of Christianity is God himself. That we may enjoy intimate friendship with him. There’s just one problem. We are constantly chasing after lesser things. We are always putting our hopes in substitutes for God, thinking they will fulfill us, give us the validation they seek. let’s look at a case study in how this works–The Golden Calf Incident.
